These Stainless Steel 316TI Pipes contain the amount of the titanium which is approximately around 0.5 %. These Stainless Steel 316TI Pipes is very much similar to the SS 316L but when it comes in the matter of the temperature strength and in the mechanical strength; it is very much higher than the SS 316L. These pipes are resistance by the intergranular conditions under different conditions after the welding. These conditions are known as the knife line attack. Stainless Steel 316TI Pipes Manufacture
Stainless steel 316 is an austenitic chromium and nickel which has 2.5 % content of the molybdenum which plays an important role in increasing the general corrosion resistance and also improves the pitting resistance to the high chloride ion solutions. The addition of the molybdenum makes it to increase the strength in the elevated temperatures due to which it is known as the Mo-added version of the SS304. These pipes are also resistance to the corrosion against the sulfuric, acetic, formic and many tartaric acids as well as in the acid sulfates and in many alkaline chlorides.
These Stainless Steel 316TI Pipes are used in many applications such as in the marine environment applications, in the making of the heat exchangers, in the pulp and paper equipment’s. These pipes are also used in the exterior architectural components in the marine coastal areas, in making different propeller shafts, fittings etc.
