The austenitic structure of Stainless Steel 304H Sanitary Tubes also gives this grade excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures. Many of the applications in which this grade has previously performed well can now be fulfilled at lower cost by Stainless Steel 304H Smooth Finish Tubes, so it is used less commonly than in the past. Similar but not necessarily identical properties of Stainless Steel 304H Inside Polished Pipes are specified for other products in their respective specifications.
Moreover, the addition of Stainless Steel 304H Inside Polished Tubes to these grades develops resistance to sulphuric acid and other reducing agents in both aggressive and mild conditions. SS 304H Electropolish Pipes also offer good oxidation resistance. However, the structural stability of 304H Stainless Steel Electropolish Tubes collapses at high temperatures, particularly above 400 Degree C.
