Inconel 600 Square Bars shows high levels of resistance to stress – corrosion cracking, exhaust gases, corrosion by high purity water, atmospheric corrosion, halogen, and most organic acids and inorganic acids.
These Inconel 600 Flat Bars can also be hardened and strengthened through cold work. Inconel 600 Threaded Bars has lower rate of attack from chlorine or hydrogen chloride. A minimum treatment of 1650 Degree F for one hour is suggested in these Inconel 600 Hollow Bars, but 1800 Degree F – 1850 Degree F for one hour preferred. Inconel 600 Hexagonal Bars exhibits cold forming characteristics normally associated with chromium – nickel stainless steels.
These Inconel 600 Triangular Bars is not an age hardening alloy, where cold working is the only available means of hardening. Welding Inconel 600 Bars can be achieved via shielded metal – arc welding using AWS ENiCrFe-3 electrode. These Inconel 600 Rods is used extensively in the chemical industry for its strength and corrosion resistance.

Alloy 600 Square Bars also provides excellent resistance to alkaline solutions and has very good corrosion resistance. These Alloy 600 Flat Bars is a nickel – chromium – iron alloy with good oxidation resistance at high temperatures and resistance to chloride – ion stress corrosion cracking corrosion by high – purity water, and caustic corrosion.
