Incoloy 825 Round Tubes is actually a nickel – iron – chromium – molybdenum alloy with good corrosion resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric acids and sea water. Incoloy 825 Square Tubes is similar to Incoloy 800 Tubes but has improved resistance to aqueous corrosion. Incoloy 825 Electropolish Tubes has excellent resistance to both reducing and oxidizing acids, to stress corrosion cracking, and to localized attacks such as pitting and crevice corrosion. Incoloy 825 Instrumentation Tubes is especially resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acids.
Although not fully resistant to stress-corrosion cracking in boiling magnesium chloride, Incoloy 825 High Pressure Tubes has good resistance in neutral chloride media. Incoloy 825 Cold Rolled Coiled Tubes is titanium – stabilized fully austenitic nickel – iron – chromium alloy with additions of copper and molybdenum. The nickel content in Incoloy 825 Bright Annealed Tubes is sufficient for resistance to chloride – ion stress – corrosion cracking.
