Alloy 800HT Forged Socket Weld Lateral Tee Fittings is meant to fill the need for a heat – and corrosion – resistant alloy with relatively low nickel content since nickel was, at the time, designated a “strategic” metal. Alloy 800 Forged Socket Weld Union Fittings has added Carbon and annealing treatment allows for higher creep and rupture properties above 1100 Degree F (600 Degree C).
