The recently developed our ASTM B161 Alloy 200 Seamless Pipes will handle stronger non – oxidizing acids than other type of alloys and will tolerate oxidizing impurities that B-type alloys will not. If these ASME SB 161 Alloy 200 Seamless Tubes undergoes greater than 15 % deformation during cold working, then a solution anneal may be necessary.
Brushing with our ASTM B161 Alloy 201 Seamless Pipes after welding will remove the heat tint and produce a surface area that does not require additional pickling. For optimum corrosion resistance, forged parts of these ASME SB 161 Alloy 201 Seamless Tubes should be subsequently annealed.
