ASTM A312 TP 347 is stabilized with columbium element that offers good resistance to corrosion even it offers resistance to general corrosion. It has good performance in strong oxidizing conditions. This grade also has good resistance to intergranular corrosion, pitting and crevice corrosion cracking. It has good machinability, formability, workability. With good weldability, it can be welded by conventional methods.
